 University Clinical Research was founded in 1984 by our Principal Investigator Dr. Larry 1. Gilderman and has successfully completed over two hundred clinical trials. Our experienced staff consists of three full time physicians, six full-time coordinators, quality assurance manager, regulatory administrator, recruiter and laboratory technician. We are integrated with a large private practice, University Medical Center, with 17,000 names in our database and 10,000 active charts. Because of our geographic location, we have a culturally diverse patient base. We over enroll in almost all studies we participate in and strive for the quickest possible enrollment. Clean data, through our quality assurance procedures, ensure clean audits by both the sponsors and the FDA. In addition, we employ the services of either a local or a central IRB depending on the Sponsor's needs. |
We have 12 exams, on-site lab with two centrifuges, gram stain capabilities, microscope two ECG machines, crash cart, oxygen, emergency medication, remote data entry experience, secured long term storage, temperature controlled refrigerator and –20 degree and –70 degree freezer, temperature controlled double lockedstorage closet, Treadmills, Dexas, MRIs, Uroflows, TVU, Endometrial biopsy capabilities, endoscopy suite, calibrated scales, calibrated blood pressure cuffs, nuclear medicine equipment, meal facilities, ultrasound and sonogram equipment, echocardiograms, and a facility for extended stays for patients.
Dr. Gilderman has been appointed to Memorial Health System's Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee. In addition, Dr. Gilderman has served as Chief of Family Practice and Chief of Staff for Memorial Health System. Memorial Health System is comprised of three hospitals, serving over 800,000 people, with over 500 physicians on staff. |
